A driver of an MG Midget convertible is in a serious condition this morning following a two car smash.

The vintage sports car flipped after it collided with what is understood to have been a BMW.

The incident happened on London Road at the junction with Ringles Cross, in Uckfield, yesterday evening.

Since when was advocating vehicle safety heartless or pointless, LB? Presumeably you're one of those ballardian 'crash' freaks who get kicks from autogeddon. Warm leatherette, much...?

perhaps there's a time and a place for such advocacy?

I'd imagine john5001 isn't out campaigning for all soft top vehicles to have roll bars retro-fitted to them at every opportunity.

It looks more like a typical 'Argus comment section cheap-shot' from where I'm sat.

And I might imagine a tear of petrol is in your eye, as the handbrake penetrates your thigh. Quick! Let's make love. Before we die. Whither the Normal...?

its not a vintage or veteran sports car and judging by the rostyle wheels its not even old enough to be tax exempt at a historic vehicle (pre mid 1972)
