Dogs rescued in house fire

Five dogs were rescued by firefighters during a blaze.
 

The fire started in the kitchen of a house in Norman Road, Newhaven, just after 8pm last night.
 

A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was still being investigated.
 

She said: “All the animals were accounted for and all are said to be okay.”

Presumably all human residents are also OK? This is what happens when you leave the dogs in charge of getting supper ready!!
