Police search resumes for missing 73-year-old man
A mass search has continued this morning for a missing 73-year-old man.
Eric William Horscroft was last seen yesterday morning at Fletching Church in Wealden.
He is described as 5' 7" of slight build, with receding grey hair, blue eyes and was wearing a green short sleeved top, green/blue trousers and trainers. He was also carrying a blue holdall.
Chief Inspector Dick Coates, said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Eric's welfare and his family are distraught.
"Twenty officers were involved in the search for Eric yesterday (25 July) evening and only stopped when it became dark.
"The search resumed this morning and officers are continuing with house to house enquiries and speaking to local people.
"If you see Eric or have any information that could help us locate him please call us immediately on 101 quoting Operation Corsair."
