News should be news and not an avenue for new ways of thrusting ads in our face.
The public is capable of deciding the worthiness of a company without a company trying to develop a fictitious portrayal of themselves.
It is disrepsectful to the local community to cram in to our line of sight or field of hearing more and more advertisements.
Renamed venues, TV and radio ads, internet flashing ads, sponsorship, street posters, billboards and many more.
With more gadgets we could be facing virtual pop ups along the street and a constant ad within our senses field every 30 seconds.
We need our current and future generations to be inquistitive and and ask why and explore.
It is an honourable act to sponsor local events or venues but not to demonstrably change things in corporate favour and against the local community.
