Eastbourne seafront road closed following cycle crash

A section of Royal Parade in Eastbourne is currently closed following a serious collision this morning.
Shortly before 7am a collision took place between a cyclist and a vehicle.
Royal Parade has been closed between Channel View Road and the roundabout.
The cyclist has been taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital by air ambulance.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 306 of 27/7.
