X-Factor star confirmed for Pride return

X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke will be making a return performance at this year’s Pride.

The Bad Boys singer will be performing inside a 3,000 capacity tent in Preston Park on September 1.

The 23-year-old RnB star has been confirmed this week among a host of acts to appear alongside Fatboy Slim and the Freemasons at this year’s revamped Pride Brighton and Hove.

The event will feature 11 different entertainment areas including the Pride funfair, market stalls and community village.

There will also be a wide range of music and performance tents including the Calabash tent focusing on the city’s black and ethnic minority groups, a 5000-capacity Wild Fruit Dance Big Top tent and a women’s performance tent.

The park event will be open between noon and 8pm and will have seven bars to satisfy thirsty customers.

The organisers are vowing to raise a minimum of £35,000 for LGBT charitable causes this year.

Adult tickets are available now at £12.50, saving £5 on the day price, and are available from 18 shops, bars and clubs in the city and from as far afield as London, Birmingham, Rochester and Worthing.

I wonder if they have paid off all their debts from last year?

I hope the champagne in the park is a good quality instead of the dreadful pop they were selling last year.
Come on gays, better a good quality cava or prosecco than a poor quality champagne.

Charlie, I would 100% say NO as it's NOT the same company, NOT run by the same people, and now run by professional Club owners / Promoters who are 100% covering all the costs of the event with their OWN MONEY if it makes a loss!

The ONLY thing that is the same is the name of the event, and that is all.

Look out for a Greatest Hits (surely a misnomer?) album soon then.
