Robbers threaten Bognor man with needle

A man handed over his rings to robbers after they threatened him with a needle.


The victim was approached by two tattooed men in an alleyway near Hotham Park, Bognor at about 3pm on Tuesday.


After a brief conversation the two men before walking away only for the men to return moments later on bikes and armed with a hyperdemic needle.


After demanding the man hand over his rings and his rucksack they then escaped back down the alleyway away from Upper Bognor Road.


The first suspect was white, between 25 and 28, a very short shaved blond or light brown hair and spoke with an eastern European accent.


A second man of similar age was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms, a plain grey short-sleeved T-shirt and riding a dirty BMX bike.


Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the robbery, saw the two men in the area around the time or recognise the descriptions, to call Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 1042 of 07/08.

You mean a hypodermic needle surely. Or aren't you referring to a hollow needle commonly used with a syringe to inject substances or extract bodily fluids?
