Motorcyclist dies following collision

A motorcyclist died after being involved in a crash last night.
 

The accident happened just before 9.30pm on the A259 Albion Road at Southwick, close to the junction with Station Road.
 

A red motorbike being ridden by a 24-year-old local man collided with a blue VW Passat being driven by a 63-year-old man.
 

The motorcyclist was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton but died a short while afterwards.
 

The road was closed for two hours while Sussex Police dealt with the scene.
 

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting Operation Anaheim.
