Steyning road blocked because of three vehicle crash

A main road is currently blocked because of a crash with motorists being urged to avoid the area.
Three vehicles have collided on the A283 at Steyning.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: “Police and emergency services are currently attending a road traffic collision on the A283, Steyning.
“A BMW, Seat Ibiza and a Volvo have collided with one another at around 3.55pm.
“There does not appear to be any serious injury but the road is blocked and drivers are advised to use an alternative route if possible.”
