VALERIE MANSFIELD Sally, Lucy and Kirsty wish to thank all their family, friends old and new, colleagues, classmates, and pupils for the expressions of sympathy and the wonderful tributes paid to their mother, Valerie Mansfield. We have been overwhelmed by the generous donations received for Macmillan Cancer Care and Rossendale Hospice in her memory. With special thanks to Valerie’s friends and congregation members at Brandlesholme Methodist Church for their kindness and support and to the Reverend Diane Hicks for the fitting and beautiful funeral service she conducted in celebration of Valerie’s life. We are deeply grateful to Macmillan Nurses, Mary Smithson and Marie Round for their thorough care and diligence, alongside the district nurses of East Lancashire who enabled us to care for Valerie at home. A special mention to Rossendale Hospice and their Hospice at Home team for their considerate care of both Valerie and us in her final days. Thank you also to Paul and Bernard at Booth & Wolstenholme Funeral Service for their warm, professional approach.
