Pedestrian suffers serious head injuries after Crawley accident

A pedestrian is in hospital with serious head injuries after being hit by a car.
The accident happened on the A23 Crawley Avenue at the junction with Gossops Drive in Crawley.
The 26-year-old local woman was involved in a collision with a red Peugeot 106 and taken to Kings College Hospital in London.
The 65-year old local woman driving the car was unhurt following the accident, which happened just after 11am on Sunday.
Witnesses are asked to contact Sussex Police on 101.
