Shame about the weather on Sunday - they haven't had much luck with it lately.

Afraid to say that having arrived at 10.30 this morning, with the incessant rain I gave up about 1pm having visited all the stands - hopefully they got some flying in this afternoon.

Saturday was an excellent day with only slight alterations to the programme due to low cloud. Weatherwise, Sunday has been unexpectedly grim so I'm glad I chose to go yestreday. However, I've just heard the Vulcan from eight miles away, so those that hung around in the rain will have been rewarded.

Was it really necessary to make the Vulcan pun in the headline, knowing that it is entirely unrelated to the air show and only some people will get it?

Doh, did not connect - quite inventive for the Argus, give them some credit!

Everything flew that was scheduled to fly, including the Vulcan.

Wanted to attend but low cloud indicated that it was likely that the flying program would be affected, particularl
y interested in the Vulcan which i first saw with the other V Bombers at Thorney Island in the early 50`s.
