Expensive amplifiers stolen from Bexhill

Stolen sound equipment worth thousands of pounds is on the market in Sussex, police have warned.

A single Beresford amplifier worth £2,500 was taken in a raid which took place in Sutherland Avenue, Bexhill, some time between Sunday, August 19, and Saturday.

Four Cyrus amplifiers worth £1,800 in total, and a Music First pre-amp worth £2,800 were also taken.

Jewellery, a Panasonic television, three Xbox consoles and a Nintendo Wii were among other items stolen.

PC Jason Kemp, of Sussex Police , said: "The items stolen are fairly distinctive and expensive.

“Enquiries are on going and I'd like to ask anyone who believes they have come across these items being sold to contact Sussex Police."

To pass on information call police on 101, quoting serial 538 of September 1, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
