Healthwatch group formed in Brighton and Hove

A NEW group is being formed to act as a consumer champion for people on health and social care issues.
When Brighton and Hove’s Healthwatch starts operating in April it will be run by a not-for-profit company and will be independent of both Brighton and Hove City Council and the NHS.
A consultation on how it should run is under way.
More information will be available on Tuesday from 6pm to 8.30pm at the Audrey Emerton building in Eastern Road, Brighton and Wednesday from 10am to 1pm in the foyer of Brighton Dome .
