Man cut free after car crashes into tree

A man had to be cut free from his car by firefighters after smashing into a tree this morning (September 8).
Emergency services were called to London Road, Balcombe, at 6:43am after reports of a crash.
On arrival fire crews used hydraulic equipment to free the man from the wreck.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
