Search is on for 15-year-old missing since Sept 4

Police are searching for a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since Tuesday (September 4).

Ruth Williams, from Crawley, was last seen at around 3pm when she told a relative that she was going into the town centre.

She is described as black, 5' 6" tall, of slim build, with short black hair and an African accent.

She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black body warmer, blue denim shorts, black leggings and black and green ankle high trainers.

A police spokesperson said: "This is completely out of character for Ruth and police are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety.

“There has been no contact from her for several days now and no reported sightings.

“If anyone thinks they have seen Ruth, or they know where she is, then we would urge them to contact police immediately on 101, quoting serial 1714 of 5 September."
