Man suffers burns in Brighton Marina boat fire

A man was taken to hospital after a fire broke out on a boat.


The 40-year-old man suffered burns to his lower legs after a fire broke out in the engine room of the 30 foot cabin cruiser in Brighton Marina at just before 2pm today.


Firefighters said the man was breathing and conscious when given first aid by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
