Dead-ication’s what you need to be a record breaker.

Tulleys Farm near Crawley is planning a monster-sized feat and is looking for volunteers with a pallid complexion and a taste for human flesh.

They are hoping to attract enough of the undead to make a zombie nation with their world record attempt.

To meet their ghoulish goal almost 5,000 zombies are needed to take part on Saturday, October 6 and snatch the world record from the Americans.

The current record of 4,093 zombies was set in New Jersey on October 30, 2010.

To be part of the zombie world record attempt at Tulleys Farm Shocktober Fest Scream Park on October 6 register online at www.zombieworldrecord.co.uk.

Sorry but this doesn't even come close. There have been many that have over 5000. Mexico had almost 10000.

It's an interesting one, the comments are correct there have been some huge Zombie walks in the US, but the Guinness criteria for the World Record is very strict and these events haven't been able to be officially verified. The current officlal Zombie Gathering world record stands at 4093 Zombies. Officials from Guinness will be at the Shocktober Fest event on October 6th, if the record is broken everyone involved with receive a certificate to say they are a world record holder. It'll be a dead good night!
