Worthing man threatened with shears while robbed
A man was robbed while threatened with garden shears in Worthing.
The incident happened as the 18-year-old was walking in an alleyway between Bashford Lane and Cecilian Avenue on Tuesday at about 2.40am
He was approached by two men who demanded the victim's phone and wallet and one of the suspects held out some garden shears.
After they robbed him, they ran off towards the town centre.
One of the suspects is described as white, of a skinny build, in his mid 20s, 6ft 2ins, with a local accent.
He was wearing a scarf over the bottom of his face, a grey hooded top with the hood up and dark trousers.
The second suspect was black, stocky build, mid 20s, 6ft 2ins, with a black beard shaped like a goatee and a local accent.
He was also wearing a grey hooded top with the hood up with a baseball hat underneath and dark trousers.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting serial 0086 of 11/9.
