A teenage boy arrested in connection with the murder of shop manager Chris Poole has been stood down from bail.

Mr Poole was killed after he was attacked outside the Premier convenience store in the Hydneye area of Eastbourne shortly before 9pm on August 16.

The 14-year-old boy, who was 13 at the time, has been told no further action will be taken against him.

Shane Noble, 19, of no fixed address, has been remanded in custody and a 15-year-old boy from Eastbourne has been remanded to the custody of a local authority outside Sussex.

They will appear before Lewes Crown Court on October 30.
