Injured soldier turns bike racer
An injured serviceman is enjoying a new lease of life as a motorbike racer.
Lance Corporal Murray Hambro of the Second Royal Tank Regiment is excelling on the track after losing both his legs in an IED explosion in Afghanistan in 2010.
L Cpl Hambro, from Upper Beeding, near Steyning, competed on a specially adapted Triumph Daytona 675R for the debut run last weekend of the True Heroes Racing team run by injured and able bodied UK Service personnel.
The team is now looking forward to taking part in other race meetings before competing in the 2013 Triumph Triple Challenge.
