Man slashed in face with Stanley knife in Brighton street attack

A man has been scarred for life after being slashed in the face with a Stanley knife.
A 20-year-old local man was found lying in a pool of blood close to the Amsterdam bar in Broad Street, Brighton at about 1.30am on Saturday.
A description of his attacker was put out over police radio and a man was detained in George Street shortly after.
The victim was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
A 28-year-old Brighton man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has been bailed until September 25.
