Police launch campaign after rise in Shoreham burglaries
4:56pm Tuesday 18th September 2012 in News
Police have launched a campaign following a rise in the number of burglaries in a seafront town.
Eighteen homes have been broken into in an area of Shoreham between July and September with laptops, ipads, ipods and gaming consoles machines among the stolen items.
Almost two-thirds of these break-ins in the Southlands Ward of the town between Shoreham Academy and Buckingham Park School through unlocked windows and doors.
Sussex Police will be holding a street briefing at the Southlanders Café in Millward Court, Wilmot Road, Shoreham next Monday between 11am and noon
where they will be giving away property protection kits.
Anyone with information should contact Sussex Police on 101.

Burglars please note that some properties will be unoccupied whilst attending street briefing.
