Missing East Preston pensioner found safe and well

A 75-year-old woman who had been missing from her home in East Preston, near Littlehampton, since Monday has been found safe and well.

Sylvia Long was located by police in Southsea, Hampshire, last night.

She is now back with her family.

Sylvia's husband John and Sussex Police would like to thank the community for their support and in particular those who reported sightings.

Wonderful news that she was found safe - can people please remember that Nellie Herriott is still missing - she's 96 years old and suffers from Alzheimer's - she went missing in Brighton in April this year - look on Twitter under hashtag #findnellie or on Sussex police website for a poster of her and the last CCTV images of her are on youtube.com
