Man dies after van crash in Brighton

A man has died after the van he was driving collided with a road sign in Bear Road, Brighton, today (September 20).

The incident occured at 1.25pm at the junction with Newmarket Terrace.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident asr the driver, believed to be in his 60s, died at the scene.

Accident investigation officers were at the scene when The Argus attended this afternoon.

Anyone who saw the collision is asked to call Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Pleat.

I agree! Who would want to buy photos of an accident??
A man lost his life yet this paper seems to think its ok to make profit out of this awful accident buy selling photos! sick and twisted...

Looking at the minimal damage to the van, I imagine the poor sod had a heart attack or something at the wheel. Well, God rest his soul and love to his family.
