Mugs saying “I’m sorry” and featuring Nick Clegg’s face are being sold at the Liberal Democrats conference.

The Liberal Democrats are selling the memorabilia mugs at the Brighton Centre .

The party has embraced the spoof remix of leader Nick Clegg's youtube apology, selling mugs branded with his face and what has become the catchy line to the song's chorus.

The party leader's videoed apology went viral after satirical website The Poke quickly released a remix of what was feared would be a failed attempt to garner support.

The libdumbs are finished at the next election. They are weak and they lie just to get in office.
All parties are Tory.

Just goes to show what a bunch of dim wits this lot are... how many times does he need to explain: Lib Dems didn't win the election!!

Where is the money going? Presumably they'll donate it to a local charity, instead of pocketing it themselves?

If the latter, then it's a bit opportunist, if you ask me.

They don't seem to take this "heartfelt apology" very seriously do they?

So, why should the rest of us?

At a time when trust in politicians is at an all time low Clegg manages to ensure that no one in their right mind would ever believe a single word a politician says again before or after an election. "Might as well spoil your ballot paper" is the message that the Liberals should put on a mug.

The tax payer probably paid for these mugs, and the taxpayers will probably buy them! Ha, getting shafted twice.
