Pyecombe road blocked by fallen tree

A road has been blocked by a fallen tree.

Emergency services were called to the A273 at Pyecombe at 5.40pm today.

There are no reports of any vehicles being damaged or of anyone being hurt.

It is understood that the road may be re-opened shortly.

The emergency services usually go by the 24hour clock. I guess that whoever wrote te story subtracted 10 instead of 12 from 1540 to convert to pm.
