Police appeal for witnesses after Horsham hit and run

Police are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run in which a woman was injured.

The incident happened near Barns Green, Horsham on Thursday (September 20) at 8.10pm.

What is believed to be a red Peugeot 206 drove off after colliding with a blue Vauxhall Nova on Emms Lane.

The driver, a 27-year-old woman from Surrey, and a three-year-old girl, were not injured.

However the other passenger, a 58-year-old woman from Newchapel, Surrey, was injured.

PC Iain Lombard, said: "We want to appeal to anyone who might have seen a red Peugeot in the area.

“The vehicle would have damage to its bonnet including the radiator as there was fluid left at the scene."

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting serial 1579 20/9.
