Witnesses sought after man robbed of iPhone in Horsham

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 24-year-old was accosted by six men and robbed of his iPhone.

The male victim was walking past the junction of Farhalls Crescent and Lambs Farm Road, Horsham, on Monday evening (September 24) at around 7.45pm.

The group approached him before one of them, an Asian man thought to be between 17 and 20-years-old, spoke to him and took his phone.

He is described as being 5'7" tall, of stocky build and wearing a black hoodie and jeans.
The group then walked off up Farhalls Crescent.

A police spokesperson said: "Although the victim wasn't injured this was a frightening experience nonetheless.

“We would ask anyone who witnessed what happened, or who has any information about the robbery, to contact police as soon as possible on 101, quoting serial 1541 of September 24.
“Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."

How to get an iPhone: option 1 - queue for hours on end to purchase; option 2 - steal one.
