A Brighton car park is still bearing the marks of high-speed performances from bikers two weeks on.

Black Rock car park on Brighton seafront is still covered in tyre tracks from the high-speed hijinks of bikers attending the Ace Café Reunion weekend on September 9.

A council spokeswoman said: “The Black Rock car park was privately hired by the organisers of the ACE Café Reunion motorbike event earlier in the month. Tyre marks can often be seen after this annual event and fade over time.”

In other news, something happened somewhere and people cared.

Someone MUST have complained about this.

I want their story so that we can all have a good chuckle.

it seems like a good idea - the area was hired by the organisers and so stunts kept to this area. Plus we got some money from it. Win - win surely?

Perhaps this should be more newsworthy - council does something sensible!

All that pollution and rubber - probably not that green :)

Could be worse, the car park could be full of van dwellers.

perhaps next year he'll get down there and solve the mystery of the black rubber marks by filming them being laid.

Those bikers must have too much money if they can burn rubber like that.
Perhaps Nick Clegg can make sure they pay their "fair" share of tax.

A more relevant story would be a report on the stunt show and some pictures of that when it happened! Can't wait for the photo of the empty Brighton Centre after the Lib conference.

These are organic lentil marks and are natural by product of the Green administration.
