Motorists are being warned to be on their guard after a spate of attempted break-ins and vandalism of parked cars.

Arun Police are warning residents to be vigilant following reports of attempted break-ins on six Ford cars in the Wick area of Littlehampton in one night.

Overnight on Monday, joyriders attempted to hotwire three Ford Fiestas parked in Courtwick Road, Colebrook Road and Cherrycroft while a Ford Escort parked in Clun Road and a Ford Fiesta and Ford Focus parked in Gloucester Road were also damaged.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
