Three people have denied taking part in a string of antique raids.

Darryl Aldridge, 46, of New Barn Road, Shoreham, is charged with taking antiques worth up to £200,000 in raids in Lewes, Washington near Storrington, Warnham near Horsham and in Kent, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire.

Kelly Lambert, 39, of Lavender Hill, Shoreham, is charged with theft, Anthony Townsend, 49, of Upper Lewes Road, Brighton, is charged with burglary and Anthony Fortune, 54, of Park Road, Worthing, is charged with perverting the court of justice.

Aldridge is in custody while Lambert and Fortune are on bail. They are due to stand trial in January but no date for the 20-day case has been set so far.
