Elvis' daughter caught serving Sussex locals fish and chips

She grew up spending half her time in Graceland and half in Beverley Hills.

But Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa-Marie seemed just as at home in this fish and chip van in Sussex.

Customers were so impressed with her skills they did not even realise the daughter of one of history’s biggest stars was serving them.

Lisa-Marie lives in Rotherfield and is good friends with owners of The Kings Arms, Kim and Justin Scales. As well as the pub, the pair run a mobile food van, Mr Chippy, and Lisa-Marie asked to serve up some chips.

Her 19-year-old son Benjamin took on frying duties.

Mr Scales said: “We have the van and Lisa- Marie decided to jump on and have a go – she had a glass of Prosecco with her too.

“We’ve become friends with her and her son.

“She had a go at frying and he had a go at serving.”

Asked if he was planning to offer her a job, he laughed: “I don’t think she needs one.” But Mr Scales, 42, denied rumours that she played ladies’ darts with the pub.

There's a girl works down the chip shop, says she's Elvis' daughter.

She is a lovely person in her own right, even without the wonderful shadow of her late father.

I would like to be served fish and chips by her anyday of the week!!

This happened 2 years ago and was recently in the National Press. The people also own the Local Pub which She is seen in and which should have been the real Headline as it is called the Kings Arms.

Let's go back to the days before the EU banned wrapping fish and chips in newspaper. And trains ran through Rotherfield.

What, you mean like the ones who work for the Mirror where this headline was used on Saturday?
