Sports presenter Clare Balding was in the city for a book signing this weekend.
The BBC anchorwoman, who won plaudits for her work during the Olympics, was the special guest at City Books in Western Road, Hove, on Saturday.
The 41-year-old signed copies of her childhood memoirs My Animals and Other Family, which was released on September 13.
A queue stretched along Western Road as fans waited to meet Clare, before she met with staff from the bookstore.
The horse racing presenter clearly enjoyed her time in the city as after her visit she tweeted: “I want to live in Brighton. Or Hove. Or Brighton and Hove.”

Claire wants to be an upstanding member of our community. Lets face it she can find everything in Hove and the Racecourse is only minutes away. Giddy-up !
