Safe stolen from charity shop

Police are appealing for witnesses after a safe was stolen from a charity shop.

Thieves are believed to have broken into the YMCA shop in Devonshire Road, Bexhill, some time between 4pm on Sunday and 8.30am on Monday.

The safe was secured to a shelf and the cost of repairing the damage caused by the break in is expected to be between £300 and £400.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sussex Police on 101.

Secured to a shelf! I will bet that 'Safe" has never held £300 to £400 and if they added the cost of purchasing the safe.....
Keep the money in a drawer out the back like everyone else. (Bet the robbers came from Eastbourne!)
