Man punched as he got off bus in Angmering
7:56am Thursday 4th October 2012 in News
A man was punched in the head as he got off the bus.
The attack took place on Monday at Angmering Railway Station.
At 4pm the victim, a 29-year-old man from Littlehampton, had left the 700 bus travelling from Littlehampton when he was approached and punched to his head and body by another man who had been travelling on the bus.
The victim suffered from a cut to the head and was left shaken.
PC Joanna Duncan said: "We believe there were other people in the area when the assault happened who may have witnessed the incident and we are keen to hear from them."
The suspect is described as white, with olive skin and black short hair which was gelled. It is believed he had a northern accent and a small amount of stubble.
He was wearing a beige coloured, waist-length jacket and had jeans and trainers on. He was of medium build, around 5ft 9inches and in his late 20s or early 30s.
