Piggy bank raider threatens shop keeper with scissors
A thug threatened a shopkeeper with scissors before stealing a piggy bank containing just a few coins. The incident took place in the Baltic Shop in Silchester Road in St Leonards at 4pm on Thursday.
The suspect went into the shop and threatened the shop keeper with a pair of scissors and demanded he open the till. The shop keeper refused and tried to take a picture of the suspect who then fled along Silchester Road and down Gensing Road. He stole a piggy bank which contained a few coins.
He is described as white, skinny with light coloured hair and wearing a green top.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting serial 1064 of 4/10.
