Teen attacked with hammer in Worthing

A teen was assaulted with a hammer in Worthing. He was attacked by three men in Shelley Road on Friday. Police were called at around 4.45pm by members of the public.

The victim, an 18-year-old man from Kent, was taken to Worthing Hospital suffering from cuts to his face and legs. The injuries were superficial and he was later discharged.

The suspects are described as black, in their 20s and wearing dark hooded tops and tracksuit bottoms.

Detective Sergeant Colin O'Hare of West Sussex CID said: "We are keeping an open mind regarding the motive for this incident. We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about who was involved and hasn't yet spoken to police to get in contact."

I hope he was not a WEED and that the CRACK on the head is not too serious, CHARLIE or whatever his name was did not deserve to get HAMMERED whatever he was involved in. he seemed to get a raw DEAL over this,
