Cars smashed into lampost in Hove

Two vehicles smashed into a lamppost.

They crashed in Hangleton Road, Hove, at 1.55am today.

Sussex Police said the occupants of the car were initially feared to be seriously hurt, but their injuries were not as bad as believed.

They were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

An East Sussex Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said the crash was cleared at 2.30am.
