Raid terror for pregnant Brighton mum

A heavily pregnant woman was left terrified after four men broke into her house.

The 31-year-old was with her two children when the men forced their way into her house in Pett Close, Whitehawk, on at 10.25pm on Wednesday, October 10.

The men, armed with bars and a baseball bat, shouted threats to a man who didn’t live at the address before driving away in a silver hatchback vehicle.

Detective Sergeant Nick Chambers said: “We’re keen to trace any further witnesses and in particular any details of the vehicle.

"The people at the flat, a 31-year old woman who is heavily pregnant, a 32-year-old man and two children aged six and 11, although unhurt, were shaken by what happened.
