Arsonists target Brighton playgrounds

A city centre park closed for building work has been targeted by arsonists.

Firefighters were called to a skate park obstacle alight at The Level in Brighton at 9pm after arsonists placed kindling under the wooden box to start the fire.

Earlier in the evening three teenagers were caught setting fire to grass underneath a climbing frame in Lynchet Close, Brighton at about 5.45pm.

Police officers extinguished the blaze and the children are now set to receive a visit from East Sussex Fire and Rescue’s intervention team to be warned of the dangers of playing with fire.

Put the rotters doing this in the stocks - then they'll get proper punishment.

Hope their parents are proud of the crap job they've done in bringing them up.
