A23 reopened following three car smash

The A23 has reopened following a three car smash.
The southbound accident between the A272 Cowfold Road (Bolney Cross) and A2300 (Hickstead) saw the carriageway blocked off from 10.30am.
A single lane was reopened at 11am with all restrictions lifted at around 11:35am.
There is still heavy traffic in the area as a result.
A police spokesman said that drivers suffered only minor injuries.
