Gang pummelled man before stealing his wallet

A gang punched and kicked a man to the ground before stealing his wallet.

The 33-year-old was walking to work through Teville Gate car park, Worthing, last Friday (October 12) between 9.35pm and 10pm.

The group of at least four men approached him before kicking and punching him to the ground and stealing his wallet.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to a cut to his head.

Detective Constable Jamie Carruthers said: "This was a nasty attack on a man making his way to work. We are appealing to anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident to come forward."

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting serial 1514 of 12/10.

4 Men? Says it all!! This is the sort of scum that go around in groups stealing and beating people but when they are on their own they run like scared little babies!
