Man charged after multiple burglaries in Portslade and Southwick

A man has been charged with attempting to commit 21 attempted burglaries on one night.
The attempted burglaries allegedly took place in Southwick and Portslade on July 10.
John Butterworth, 38, of no fixed abode, will appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on October 26.
Detective Sergeant Simon Dunn said: “We will always investigate burglaries and deal with criminals robustly."
Anyone who has information about these burglaries is asked to contact police on 101.
