Teens arrested after mass Shoreham brawl

Two teenagers have been arrested after a man suffered a broken nose and cheek bone in a brawl.

The fight, which involved several people, happened outside a house in Rosslyn Road, Shoreham, yesterday (October 17).

Police were called at 6.10pm and found an 18-year-old local man with head injuries.

He was taken by ambulance to Worthing Hospital for treatment to a broken nose and cheek bone.

Detective Sergeant Chris Leech, from West Sussex CID, said: "This was a particularly violent attack by several men on a single victim.

“Fortunately, a member of the community quickly reported it to police and the injured man was taken to hospital and arrests were made a short time afterwards.

"Officers will be continuing with house to house enquiries and I would appeal to anyone who has information and has not yet spoken to police to do so. You can call 101 quoting serial 1457 of 17/10 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
