Bike hurt in crash near Pevensey

A motorcyclist was helicoptered to hospital after a crash with a car between Hailsham and Bexhill.
The crash happened at about 12.30pm on Wartling Road, Wartling, north of Pevensey Bay.
Sussex Police closed the road until just before 5pm.
The motorcyclist was taken by helicopter to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
Anyone who saw what happened is asked to call Sussex Police on 101, quoting Operation Pennock.
