A husband and wife team is brewing up some new ideas.

Niki and Justin Deighton, pictured, have taken the reins at WJ King in Horsham.

The couple boast more than 20 years’ experience in manufacturing, packaging and promotional marketing.

The say they are look forward to putting their branding expertise into practice with a review of the brewery’s collection of beers, including seasonal ales Green Bullet and Kings Old Ale.

Other changes are to move the existing team of six staff to a new building and to install software to automate the production process.

The brewery is holding an open day on September 7.

Craft beer lovers and locals are invited to sample the beers, take an informative brewery tour and try tasty and reviving and ale and cheese pairing as part of the Horsham Festival.

Mr Deighton said: “We have plans for a new brand and new recipes to offer our customers some exciting new beers in the future.”
