THE Ropetackle Arts Centre in Shoreham is launching an exciting new Business Friends scheme this month.

It will enable local businesses, as well as those further afield, the opportunity to support the centre and its wide range of community activities.

Ropetackle chairman Martin Allen said: “Now established as one of the leading venues in the region and a local arts and community hub, we are excited to offer businesses the opportunity to share in our success and become involved in supporting our community initiatives.”

The scheme offers different levels of membership from standard Business Friend to Principal Sponsor, each offering a range of benefits.

Ropetackle director Phil Jackson said: “To celebrate the scheme we’re holding a fantastic launch reception on Thursday October 26 open to all businesses.

“Speakers lined up include Tim Loughton MP, Alex Bailey (chief executive of Adur and Worthing Councils), Andrew Comben (chief executive of Brighton Dome and Festival) and Rodney Lunn (chief executive of Shoreham Port).

“We’ll also reveal how engagement with the arts can significantly enhance a business, particularly in relation to corporate social responsibility.

“We hope as many businesses as possible can join us for the launch.”

Any members of the business community wishing to attend should contact: ropetacklebusinessfriends@gmail.com or call 01273 465432 for further details.

The Ropetackle staff are doing their best to drive the business forward.
