WASTE company CountyClean has moved into the largest office within Pacific House on Eastbourne’s Sovereign Harbour Innovation Park.

The firm is joined in the building by two other new tenants – McMillan Williams Solicitors and tech firm Flamethrower.

Only six offices now remain available to let.

CountyClean Group’s new premises were officially opened by Eastbourne MP Stephen Lloyd.

The company provides liquid waste management services across the south east and London.

It started in 2007 and has grown into a multi-million-pound business with a fleet of 20 vehicles, 47 staff and vacancies for five more.

The firm has expanded from its original household services to include commercial and industrial waste disposal plus emergency response to spills and floods.

It has set up a civil engineering division to repair, service and install pumping and drainage systems.

Last year it opened its own waste treatment and recycling facility.

It has also just started a road sweeping operation.

CountyClean has ambitious plans to continue this expansion aiming to become a significant national environmental services company.

The company moved to Pacific House from converted farm buildings near Herstmonceux.

MD Mike Walker said: “There’s plenty of parking. The space we now have is refreshing - it gives us a much more professional image and the vibe in the building is great. We’re so pleased with the outcome.

“We have ambitious growth plans and are always on the look-out for great talent, so if anyone fancies joining us in our wonderful new offices, just look us up.”

McMillan Williams Solicitors was founded in 1983 and has 500 staff across London and southern England, providing personal and commercial advice.

It is one of the fastest-growing law firms in the country.

The company has just opened its first Eastbourne office on the ground floor of Pacific House.
