THE Toby Carvery Downlands was officially reopened by the mayor and mayoress of Worthing, Alex and Fran Harman, following a remodel.
General manager Neil Doig said: “We were thrilled to have had both the mayor and mayoress of Worthing cut the ceremonial ribbon for us.
“Alex and Fran are such passionate and caring people and the work they do to help the area is brilliant to see.
“They’re an integral part of the local community and we’re really pleased to have had them mark our special occasion.”
Located on Upper Brighton Road, the Toby Carvery has had an extensive two-week refurbishment.
Following a significant investment in the restaurant, ten new jobs have been created.
